The Oorlog Fuzz is a hand-built tribute to the legendary early-’90s Civil War Big Muff circuit — famous for its huge low end, creamy sustain and smoother, more articulate character compared with many other Muff variants.

It delivers that unmistakable wall of fuzz, but with enough clarity to keep chords defined and lead lines singing.

Compared with more aggressive Muff circuits, the Civil War voicing is warmer, rounder and less harsh, with a broad low end and smooth top end. Push the Sustain and it becomes massive and saturated; back it off and there’s a surprisingly usable gritty distortion hiding underneath.

Perfect for alternative rock, grunge, doom, stoner rock, shoegaze, blues-rock and huge sustained lead tones.
